Man City News: Man City have barred Rodri and Ferran from going to the Olympics

Pep Guardiola has clarified how Manchester City have barred Rodri and Ferran from representing Spain at this year’s Olympic football tournament in Tokyo.
Six players from the Spanish team are representing the country at Euro 2020, including Barcelona’s Pedri and Eric Garcia, who have been invited to the Olympics which start in July.
The Spanish team has instructed all the athletes invited to the Olympics to take part in the training which will start on July 12, one day after the conclusion of Euro 2020.
By law, non Spanish clubs have the right to barred their athletes from the Olympics, but it also allows players who play in the country to go and represent their countries.
Ferran Torres and Rodri will not go to the Olympics because they have played in the European Championships. There will be a lot of games for them, Guardiola told on Monday.
One player should represent his country in the season. They are paid by unions, so they should protect their assets, The first season has a lot of challenges but it’s about creating games.
Spain will face Italy in the quarter finals of the European Championships on Tuesday.
