Manchester United are close to completing the signing of Real Madrid striker Raphael Varane, after lengthy negotiations between the two clubs since the weekend.
Raphael Varane 28years old, has told Real Madrid he is not interested in extending his contract with the club, which expires in a year.
So far they have not reached an agreement, but there are indications that they will reach an agreement that will benefit all of them.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping to repair the club’s backlog one of which is a problem, and has already taken Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jadon Sancho on the sidelines.
Raphael Varane joined Real Madrid in 2011 from French side Lens, who have won three La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues with the Spanish club.
He also won the 2018 World Cup with France making 79 appearances, and played in all four of the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
