Paris St Germain News: Nicolas Anelka advised Mbappe to leave PSG
Paris St Germain News:
Nicolas Anelka has advised Kylian Mbappe that if he wants to be a world class player like Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi, he should leave Paris St Germain (PSG).
Mbappe who scored 42 goals in all competitions for PSG last season, has a contract with the club until 2022. However, the France international has been linked with a move to Spain to play for Real Madrid.
The 22years old suffered a setback at Euro 2020, failing to take a penalty shootout that led Switzerland to a 5-4 victory in the second round after a 3-3 draw. If he wants to win trophies, he should leave PSG, Anelka wrote on his page on The Athletic.
You can’t say you’re competing with top players if you play for PSG. If you want to win the Ballon d’Or, like Ronaldo and Messi, you have to compete with some of the best players in the world.
Anelka who won the European Championship in 2000 with the French team, said Ligue 1 was not easy, but the Premier League was difficult to play. Once you need to excel in international football more than his role at PSG, he should move to Chelsea or Manchester United or Arsenal or Manchester City or Liverpool.
Or move to Spain with Real Madrid or Barcelona. Or may be Italy, as Anelka said. Then we will start to see its impact on the world.
