Sergio Ramos transfer: Former Real defender joined PSG
Paris St Germain have signed Sergio Ramos on a two year deal after the player’s contract expired at Real Madrid. Ramos 35years old, left Madrid after the end of his 16 years spell at the end of June.
The most capped player in Spain has won five La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues. Ramos is PSG’s third signing of the summer after Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan and Georginio Wijnaldum.
Georginio Wijnaldum of the Netherlands has joined PSG on a free transfer after his contract with Liverpool expired.
Mauricio Pochettino‘s side, who failed to win a trophy last season, are looking for Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has left AC Milan.
Ramos, who has not been left out of Euro 2020, will be joined by his former Real Madrid teamm ates Angel di Maria and Keylor Navas.
Real Madrid announced on Tuesday, June 15, that captain Sergio Ramos will leave the club once his contract expires at the end of June. Ramos 35years old, has won several trophies at Real Madrid including five La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues, since joining the club from Sevilla in 2005.
The defender has made 671 appearances for Real Madrid and scored 101 goals, with his contract set to expire at the end of June.
